Can a Physical Therapist transfer a license to Utah as a military spouse?
Yes. Utah is a member of the Physical Therapy Compact (PT Compact), so a Physical Therapist holding a multistate/compact license can practice in UT without re-applying. Compact privilege is purchased per state where you want to practice. Military spouses moving to a non-member state can use VAEIA 2022 portability.

A military spouse stationed in Utah may work in a DOPL-licensed profession, which includes physical therapy, without obtaining a Utah license while holding an active license in good standing from another state or U.S. territory, and DOPL directs military members and spouses to its Military Resources page before applying for a temporary PT or PTA license.
