Federal law bars charging a fee for help filing an initial VA disability claim. Companies like Trajector and Veterans Guardian have billed individual veterans up to $20,000 for it anyway. The VA has sent 40+ warning letters in a decade. Its own enforcement authority doesn't reach companies it never accredited in the first place.
