Special Forces (Sa'ka)
The Sa'ka Forces — sa'ka means "thunderbolt" in Arabic — are Egypt's most elite army unit. Sa'ka is an airborne and special operations force conducting direct action, counterterrorism, and deep reconnaissance. Sa'ka units have been the primary Egyptian Army component conducting precision counterterrorism operations in North Sinai against Wilayat Sinai leadership. Selection is highly competitive; the training pipeline is demanding. Sa'ka soldiers serve in the most operationally intensive assignments in the Egyptian Army. This is not ceremonial service.

Do not disclose: Sinai operational details (unit positions, force composition, patrol routes, engagement areas), intelligence cooperation with the US or other partners, internal command structure details, classified equipment capabilities, or any information that could assist adversaries. Your honest account of training conditions, institutional culture, conscript experience, and career structure does not compromise security. When uncertain — leave it out.
