About This Condition

A category of lung diseases characterized by the formation of granulomas (clusters of immune cells) in lung tissue, often in response to inhaled foreign particles or chemical irritants. The PACT Act includes pulmonary granulomatous disease as a presumptive condition for eligible veterans.
