Karys, kuris žino karinės tarnybos reglamentus ir Lietuvos įstatymus geriau nei jo vadas — ir naudoja šias žinias savęs ar bendražygių gynybai. Atnaujinus privalomąją tarnybą, daugelis kareivių yra aukštojo mokslo studentai ar absolventai — teisinis išprusimas yra norma.

The NATO Enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) battalion stationed in Lithuania — a Bundeswehr-led multinational unit at Rukla. Its presence is a constant visible reminder of why Lithuania serves.
