Every army has one
Barrack-room lawyer— the Jamaican equivalent of the barrack room lawyer
A soldier who knows the regulations — JDF Act, standing orders, pay entitlements — and uses them strategically.
In a force of 3,000, everyone knows everyone. The barrack-room lawyer is well-known across the JDF quickly — both their legal knowledge and their reputation for using it. Choose your battles carefully.
