Red Tape Rally

The DMV of Military Life.
Except You Can’t Leave.

Every service member has lost hours of their life to admin office lines. Finance, DEERS, TMO, ID Card — the same beige rooms, the same clipboards, the same sign that says “Be Back at 1300.” Red Tape Rally is crowdsourced wait time data so you can stop guessing.

“We’re sorry, that form is from 2019. You need the new one.” — Every finance office, always

How It Works

Find Your Office

Search your installation. We track DEERS, Finance, TMO, ID Card, and a dozen other rooms where time goes to die.

Yes, we know they all have the same beige walls.

Report Your Wait

Check in when you arrive. Check out when you leave. 30 seconds of your time saves someone else an hour of theirs.

Unless you're still in line. In which case, you have time.

Know Before You Go

Real-time crowdsourced data tells you when it's "quick," "moderate," or "pack a lunch." Plan accordingly.

Unlike the Army, we won't tell you to be there at 0600 and then open at 0900.

Hall of Shame

The offices with the longest average wait times. Minimum 3 reports, last 90 days. Bring a book.

📋

No data yet — we’re just getting started.

Be the first to report your wait time. Every report helps the next person decide whether to pack a lunch or power-walk across post.
