About This Installation
Home of the XVIII Airborne Corps, 82nd Airborne Division, US Army Special Operations Command, and JSOC. The largest military installation in the world by population (~57,000 troops). Renamed from Fort Bragg to Fort Liberty in 2023. The 82nd's "Ready Brigade" can deploy globally within 18 hours.
