Artillery (Артилерія)
Ukrainian artillery operates a mix of Soviet-legacy systems and Western-supplied platforms including M777 howitzers, M109 Paladin self-propelled guns, HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems, and Panzerhaubitze 2000 (supplied by Germany and the Netherlands). HIMARS in particular has been a publicly acknowledged factor in Ukrainian long-range strike capability. Artillery soldiers may be trained on multiple platforms; cross-training between Western and Soviet systems is a practical requirement. Counter-battery fire is a constant threat.

UKRAINE WARTIME OPSEC — HIGHEST PRIORITY. Ukraine is in an active full-scale war. Sharing operational information about ZSU unit locations, movements, force composition, positions, or defensive works is illegal under Ukrainian law and directly endangers lives. This applies to any information that could benefit an adversary. Do not post: unit designations with locations, current defensive positions, ammunition stockpiles, equipment locations, personnel counts, or any information that could be used for targeting. Your honest experience of service conditions, pay, institutional culture, and personal observations does not violate OPSEC. If you are uncertain whether something is operationally sensitive — it is. Leave it out.
