The ROC Marine Corps assault infantry is one of Taiwan's most demanding combat roles. Focused on amphibious assault, coastal defense, and counterattack operations. Marines operate from Kaohsiung and conduct exercises on Taiwan's beaches. The training pipeline is significantly harder than standard army conscript service. Volunteer professional track only — this is not a conscript assignment.
