Piloto de Combate / Transporte (Fuerza Aérea del Paraguay)

The Fuerza Aérea del Paraguay (FAP) operates a modest fleet of transport and light attack aircraft. The FAP does not operate frontline jet fighters; its primary missions are transport, reconnaissance, and air support to ground operations — including in the northern departments where the EPP operates. Pilot selection is managed through the Escuela Militar de Aviación. The FAP is the smallest branch of Paraguay's armed forces. Pilot careers in the FAP offer genuine flying experience but within a resource-constrained force — operational aircraft availability and flight hours per pilot reflect Paraguay's defence budget reality.
