About This Installation
Multi-mission IAF base housing UAV operations, space launch (Shavit rocket using westward "retrograde" orbit), and the Rafael missile test range. Site of Israeli anti-ballistic missile (Arrow/David's Sling) test operations. Palmachim's position on the coast south of Tel Aviv makes it Israel's primary sensor-to-shooter integration node.
