Education benefit is the single most repeated recruiter line, and almost nobody tells you how it compares internationally. Here's every major allied military's post-service education program: what it funds, who qualifies, how long you have to use it, and whether you can pass it to your kids.
Methodology
Figures and program descriptions are sourced from each country's veterans-affairs body, defence ministry, or service-branch documentation. Where benefit amounts are calculated dynamically (US MHA tied to local BAH, German BFD tied to contract length, Israeli Pikadon tied to service designation) we describe the formula rather than fabricating a single dollar figure.
