Got a wild idea? We build for service members — not the brass, not shareholders. If it's good, it ships.

Fort Bliss is so big that driving to your unit from the main gate counts as a PCS — the installation covers 1.12 million acres, making it larger than Rhode Island, and the running joke is that Bliss has its own time zone. The desert doesn't have seasons — it has 'hot,' 'less hot but still hot,' and 'dust storm that sandblasts your vehicle, your skin, and your remaining enthusiasm for Army life.' Your vehicle will be covered in dust before you finish washing it, which is why the car washes here have a loyalty program that should come with a VA claim. El Paso has absolutely elite Mexican food — L&J Café, Chico's Tacos (divisive but iconic), and street tacos that will make every other duty station's 'Mexican restaurant' feel like an insult. Juárez is right across the bridge and no, you're not going, and yes, the safety brief will mention this specifically. The 1st Armored Division lives here, and the training rotation to NTC is so frequent that soldiers pack their go-bags with a familiarity that borders on muscle memory. The sunsets over the Franklin Mountains are admittedly gorgeous — the desert turns gold and purple in a way that almost makes you forget it was 115 degrees at formation this morning. Almost.
