Can a EMT transfer a license to Louisiana as a military spouse?
Yes. Louisiana is a member of the Recognition of EMS Personnel Licensure Interstate CompAct (REPLICA), so a EMT holding a multistate/compact license can practice in LA without re-applying. REPLICA covers cross-state response privileges, not full license portability for routine employment. Spouses moving permanently may need state license + VAEIA portability.
