Air Force Academy Preparatory School

Ten months at Colorado Springs preparing candidates who weren't quite ready for USAFA to become candidates who are. The Prep School fills the gap with intensive academics (especially math and English), military training, and physical conditioning. A significant percentage of students are prior-enlisted airmen getting a shot at a commission. The prep year is demanding — it's not a remedial program, it's a proving ground. Graduate here and you start USAFA as a freshman with a chip on your shoulder and something to prove.
