Air Force Security Forces Tech School

Eight weeks at Lackland learning that Security Forces is the Air Force's version of military police, except you guard flight lines and nuclear weapons instead of writing speeding tickets. The Defenders course covers law enforcement, base defense, and convoy ops. It's more tactical than most airmen expect and less tactical than most soldiers would accept. You'll stand post in every weather condition and learn that "gate guard" is only the beginning.
