About This School
Every single enlisted sailor walks through Great Lakes, Illinois — in January if you're unlucky. RTC is equal parts classroom, marching, and discovering that "making your rack" is now a graded event. Battle Stations 21 is the capstone, a 12-hour simulation aboard the USS Trayer that's genuinely impressive. The worst part is Illinois in winter. The best part is that it's only 10 weeks.
