Marriott offers military/government rates of approximately 15% below standard pricing across all their brands (Marriott, Sheraton, Westin, W Hotels, Courtyard, Residence Inn, etc.). Book as a Marriott Bonvoy member and select "Government/Military" rate when searching.

Wyndham offers 15–20% off hotel stays for military members plus free Wyndham Rewards Gold tier status (normally requires 40 nights/year). Covers all Wyndham brands: Days Inn, Super 8, La Quinta, Ramada, Howard Johnson, and more. Gold status adds late checkout, room upgrades, and bonus points.

Hilton offers government/military rates across all their brands (Hilton, Hampton Inn, Doubletree, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, etc.). Rate is approximately 10% off flexible rate. Book online or call and request the military/government rate.

Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park resorts offer military rates of up to 40% off standard pricing when booked through their military discount portal. Locations across the US. Popular with military families — indoor water parks mean weather-independent fun year-round.

IHG (Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Hotel Indigo, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, etc.) offers government/military rates — typically 5–15% below flexible rate. Candlewood Suites is especially popular for extended TDY/TLE stays.

Choice Hotels (Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, Clarion, Sleep Inn, Cambria, Econo Lodge, Rodeway Inn) offers military/government rates plus complimentary Gold Elite status for military members. Gold Elite adds bonus points, preferred rooms, and late checkout.

Amtrak offers 10% off the lowest available fare for active duty military, veterans, and their spouses. Book online — select military discount rate at checkout. Particularly useful for East Coast military travel (NEC corridor: Boston-NYC-DC-Richmond). Discounts on Acela are also available.

Through a partnership between DoorDash and GovX, eligible GovX members without an existing DashPass membership can redeem a discounted 13-month DashPass plan through the GovX benefits marketplace (exact price is shown at redemption on govx.com, not published on DoorDash's page). After the 13 months, the plan auto-renews to DoorDash's standard annual DashPass plan, currently $96/year plus tax, unless canceled.

Active-duty service members with a valid Uniformed Services ID board in the Priority group and are exempt from the two-piece baggage limit (no excess, oversize, or overweight charges), provided no bag exceeds 100 lbs / 80 inches (L+W+H), up to 20 pieces. Discounted military/government fares for active duty, Guard, and Reserve on orders (plus authorized dependents) are booked by phone or at the ticket counter only, not on southwest.com.

Active members of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard get early boarding and free checked baggage: 5 bags up to 100 lbs each when traveling on official orders, or 2 free bags up to 50 lbs each (3 bags in Premium Select, 3 bags up to 70 lbs in First/Delta One) for personal/leisure travel. Discounted leisure fares for active duty and immediate family are booked by phone, not published online.

Active-duty military (all 6 branches, on current orders) get a 5% discount on the published base fare for select United/United Express flights, verified through your MileagePlus profile. Also included: up to 5 free checked bags depending on travel type, pre-boarding, and space-available United Club access. Discount excludes basic economy and special promotional fares, and cannot combine with other discounts.

U.S. active-duty military traveling for leisure get 5% off all JetBlue fares plus two free checked bags (up to 50 lbs each); dependents on the same reservation qualify too, verified with a DOD Common Access Card. Active duty traveling for duty (with orders) get 5% off and up to 5 free checked bags (up to 99 lbs each). Retired military, veterans, and their families can get the same 5% fare discount and 2 free checked bags through JetBlue's partnership with the WeSalute+ program (membership fee required; 30-day trial available).

Xanterra-operated Oasis at Death Valley (Inn at Death Valley and Ranch at Death Valley) offers active, discharged, or retired military 20% off lodging, extended to immediate family with a valid military ID. Xanterra also runs this offer across other properties during Military Family Appreciation Month, but Death Valley's is a standing, verifiable year-round rate on Xanterra's own booking site.

DNC Parks & Resorts at Yellowstone (a Delaware North company, the official concessionaire running Yellowstone's in-park hotels and cabins) offers active duty, reserve, and retired U.S. Armed Forces personnel a discounted best-available-rate on lodging, year-round, subject to space availability. This is separate from the free NPS America the Beautiful pass -- it's a lodging-rate discount from the park's actual hotel operator.

American Airlines waives checked-bag fees for active-duty U.S. military with a valid military ID on American-marketed and -operated flights: up to 5 bags at 100 lbs each when traveling on orders (dependents included), or up to 3 bags at 50 lbs each for personal/leisure travel. Active-duty military with ID also board in Group 1, and American offers government/military fares in some markets. The free-bag benefit does not apply to codeshare flights operated by partner airlines.
