Seven weeks at Fort Knox learning the sales tactics, interviewing skills, and ethical gymnastics required to put people in the Army. Recruiting duty is the assignment nobody wants and everybody learns from. You'll master the art of the follow-up call, discover that your quota is always higher than humanly possible, and learn to explain benefits packages to parents who don't trust you. The burnout is real but the experience is career-defining.
