Six weeks at Fort Moore learning reconnaissance and security operations at the troop and squadron level. CLC is where the Army builds its cavalry leaders — the officers and NCOs who go first when everyone else is still planning. The field exercises are long, the AARs are brutal, and the Cav community is tight enough that your reputation here follows you to your next unit. Stetsons and spurs are earned, not issued.
