About This School
Two to four weeks of learning the Modern Army Combatives Program — a system built on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and striking that replaced the Army's old bayonet-focused hand-to-hand combat training. Level I is basic ground fighting; Level IV makes you a certified instructor. The tournaments are real and the injuries are frequent enough that the medics stay busy. Combatives has quietly become one of the Army's best morale programs — because nothing bonds a platoon like legally choking each other.
