Army Basic Officer Leader Course — Infantry

Seventeen weeks at Fort Moore where brand-new infantry lieutenants discover that being an officer is nothing like ROTC or OCS told them. IBOLC is physically demanding — expect ruck marches, live fires, and a field problem that lasts longer than your patience. The graded patrol where your peers evaluate you is where reputations are made or destroyed. Your platoon sergeant will know if you graduated top or bottom.
