Active duty military stationed in New York State receive a free Empire Pass, which grants unlimited day-use access to all New York State Parks and DEC recreation areas. Veterans with a disability rating also receive a lifetime reduced-cost or free pass. NY State Parks include Niagara Falls, Letchworth, Adirondacks, and Long Island beaches.
