About This School
Twelve months of the most competitive pilot training in the world — T-6A Texan II for Phase II, then T-38C Talon (fighter/bomber track) or T-1A Jayhawk (tanker/transport track). UPT at Columbus, Laughlin, or Vance is where the Air Force separates the "I want to be a pilot" crowd from the "I can actually fly" crowd. Track selection is based entirely on performance, and the washout rate reminds you daily that wings are earned. The best year and worst year of your life, simultaneously.
