Got a wild idea? We build for service members — not the brass, not shareholders. If it's good, it ships.

Det 940 at the University of Wyoming is a small program with one of the most strategically resonant geographic positions in AFROTC. F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne sits 50 miles south — home of the 90th Missile Wing, which maintains 150 Minuteman III ICBMs across Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska, and is the installation most directly associated with the Space Force's ICBM transition to the new Sentinel system. For cadets drawn to the nuclear deterrence and missile operations career fields, access to the 90th Missile Wing community is unmatched in the AFROTC system from this location. Laramie's elevation above 7,000 feet makes physical training harder and more effective simultaneously. The small cohort size produces a tight-knit, high-accountability culture where every cadet is visible to the cadre.
