Rochester Institute of Technology

Rochester Institute of Technology hosts the Tiger Battalion, which serves cadets from RIT, the University of Rochester, Nazareth University, St. John Fisher University, SUNY Geneseo, and Monroe Community College. The Tiger Battalion was established in 1968. RIT's dominant programs in engineering technology, computing, imaging science, and game design produce candidates well-suited for Cyber, Signal, and Ordnance branches. RIT is a private university — ROTC scholarships covering full tuition represent approximately $61,870 in annual value for the 2025–2026 academic year.
