Got a wild idea? We build for service members — not the brass, not shareholders. If it's good, it ships.

Det 645 at Ohio State is one of the Midwest's largest AFROTC programs, with a commissioning volume that supports a broad range of career field placements across the Air Force and Space Force. Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton — Air Force Materiel Command headquarters, the Air Force Research Laboratory, and one of the most important logistics and acquisitions hubs in the DoD — sits 80 miles away and shapes the culture here. Cadets with STEM majors at Ohio State pursue natural pipelines into acquisitions and research career fields, while rated board competitors are bolstered by the university's engineering depth. The wing is large enough that a cadet can find their people — Arnold Air Society, Sabre Flight, and other cadet organizations give structure between drill periods. The rated physical is administered at Wright-Patterson, reinforcing the local connection.
