Got a wild idea? We build for service members — not the brass, not shareholders. If it's good, it ships.

The Capital Battalion at George Washington University is one of the most uniquely positioned NROTC units in the country — located in Foggy Bottom, midshipmen have guided access to the Pentagon, the White House, Arlington National Cemetery, and senior Defense Department officials that no other unit can match during the regular school week. The battalion draws approximately 120 midshipmen from GWU, Georgetown, Howard University, and Catholic University of America, creating a genuinely diverse cohort studying in the political and policy capital of the nation. Weekly Leadership Lab features distinguished guest speakers from the DOD, State Department, and intelligence community. Service selection is competitive across all warfare communities. GWU's international affairs and policy programs mean a disproportionate number of graduates pursue information warfare, intelligence officer, and foreign area officer designators after initial fleet tours.
