Got a wild idea? We build for service members — not the brass, not shareholders. If it's good, it ships.

Det 150 at the University of Florida is one of the Southeast's largest and most productive AFROTC detachments, with Gainesville positioned inside one of the most Air Force-dense states in the country. MacDill AFB (USCENTCOM, USSOCOM, KC-135 wing) is two hours south; Eglin AFB (the Air Force's largest test range, F-35 operational wing, Air Armament Center) is two hours northwest; Patrick SFB (Space Force operational units, Delta 45 launch range) is two hours east. No other large state university detachment sits this equidistant from this much operational diversity. Florida's aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science schools feed rated, acquisitions, cyber, and space pipelines simultaneously. The rated board culture is competitive — Gainesville cadets know their competition includes the ERAU programs down the interstate.
