Idaho State Education Assistance Program (SEAP) provides up to $8,000 per state fiscal year for tuition and fees at Idaho institutions for Idaho Guard members.
Idaho Army Guard offers a state-supported $20,000 non-prior-service enlistment bonus for qualifying MOSs and a 6-year contract (pilot program continues per IDNG announcements).
Active-duty Idaho residents stationed outside Idaho 120+ continuous days are not taxed on that military pay. Idaho expanded its retirement-benefits deduction; military retirement may qualify per ISTC guidance.
Idaho Code 46-407 grants reemployment rights and 1-year for-cause discharge protection; Idaho Code 46-216 provides up to 15 days of paid military leave per year for state and local government employees.
Veterans rated 100% service-connected disabled (or unemployable) qualify for Idaho's Veterans Property Tax Reduction with no income limit — applied through County Assessor.
