Marines
Definition

Dry-fire practice before live fire. Also used metaphorically for rehearsing anything before doing it for real. Marines snap in on everything from rifle quals to promotion board questions.

Example Usage

"Snap in on your knowledge before you go before the board, or the First Sergeant will eat you alive."
