90-Day Rule
Definition
The informal rule that everything you learned in training is irrelevant and you'll actually learn your job in the first 90 days at your unit. Training is theory. Your unit is reality. They are not the same.
Example Usage
"Forget everything they taught you. Your 90-day rule starts now. Welcome to how things actually work."
