Hardball
Definition
A paved road. As opposed to a dirt road, which is most of the roads you'll encounter on a deployment. Getting to hardball means getting to civilization. Almost.
Example Usage
"Once we hit hardball, we're 30 mikes from the FOB. My back can survive another 30 mikes."
