Field Expedient
Definition
A creative (and often questionable) solution using whatever is available. The military version of "it ain't stupid if it works." Duct tape and 550 cord are your primary tools.
Example Usage
"The antenna broke so we built a field expedient one out of a wire hanger and an MRE spoon. It works. Don't ask how."
