Embrace the Suck Factor
Definition
A numerical rating of how miserable a situation is, typically on a scale of 1-10. A 10 means you're questioning your recruiter's ancestry. Useful for comparing notes on who had it worse (a competitive military sport).
Example Usage
"This field op is a solid 8 on the suck factor. We're sleeping in the rain but at least nobody's shooting at us."
