Crew Rest
Air Force
Definition
The mandatory 12-hour rest period for aircrew before flying. Practically the most sacred perk in the Air Force. Aircrew will invoke crew rest to dodge literally any tasking, and regulations back them up.
Example Usage
"Sorry, can't come to the all-call. I'm in crew rest. No, I don't fly until Thursday. Doesn't matter."
