Definition
Did something spectacularly dumb, even by military standards. Originally a Marine joke (Marines eat crayons — they'll tell you themselves), now used universally for peak stupidity.
Example Usage
"He tried to charge his phone in a MRE heater. Somebody ate the crayons today."
