The work is important and the MTF environment is more professional than many other Air Force workplaces. Civilian healthcare administration typically requires a bachelor's degree for advancement, so the experience is a bridge that works better with education alongside it. Large MTFs like Wilford Hall, Wright-Patterson, and Keesler Medical Center provide the most substantial management experience.
