Annual BASOPS for Ramstein Air Base, Germany — headquarters of U.S. Air Forces in Europe/Air Forces Africa (USAFE-AFAFRICA) and NATO Allied Air Command. Ramstein is the hub for all U.S. air operations in Europe and Africa and the primary casualty evacuation point for wounded personnel from the CENTCOM AOR via Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. The 86th Airlift Wing operates C-130Js. O&M covers NATO headquarters infrastructure and approximately 55,000 U.S. personnel and dependents across USAFE.
