NAS Oceana — Base Operations & Maintenance (FY2025)

Annual BASOPS for Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Virginia — the Navy's only master jet base on the East Coast, home to Atlantic Fleet carrier air wings flying F/A-18E/F Super Hornets. NAS Oceana and its outlying field (NAS Oceana - Dam Neck Annex) serve as home to all East Coast carrier-based strike fighter squadrons. The urban Virginia Beach location drives significant noise mitigation and land use coordination costs. O&M supports approximately 14,000 military and civilian personnel.
