Annual BASOPS for Fort Novosel (formerly Fort Rucker), Alabama — the "Home of Army Aviation" and the Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel trains every Army aviator — from initial entry rotary wing to senior instructor pilots. The installation maintains hundreds of training aircraft and the airspace to fly them. O&M covers flight operations, simulators, and support for approximately 12,000 military and civilian personnel in the Wiregrass region.
