Five weeks of PME for Marine Staff Sergeants who are about to discover that leading Marines gets exponentially harder at every rank. The curriculum covers operational planning, leadership at the company level, and managing Marines who are old enough to have real problems. SNCO Academy is where the Corps separates the career Marines from the ones who just haven't gotten out yet. The writing and briefing standards are higher than most expect.
