Two weeks at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, in conditions cold enough to make you question the concept of voluntary military service. You'll build snow shelters, operate in sub-zero temperatures, and learn that cold weather kills more soldiers than most people realize. The frostbite and hypothermia prevention classes become very personal very quickly. CWOC grads look at winter differently forever.
