Yokota AB — Base Operations & Maintenance (FY2025)

Annual BASOPS for Yokota Air Base, Japan — headquarters of U.S. Forces Japan (USFJ) and Pacific Air Forces' 5th Air Force. Yokota is the gateway for all U.S. military personnel entering Japan and operates as a dual-use airfield shared with the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The 374th Airlift Wing operates C-130Js and UH-1Ns. Tokyo's proximity makes Yokota strategically vital but also politically sensitive. O&M supports approximately 12,000 U.S. personnel and SOFA dependents.
