Annual BASOPS for Tyndall AFB, Florida — the "Base of the Future," being rebuilt from the ground up after Hurricane Michael destroyed 95% of the base in October 2018. The Air Force has invested $5B+ in reconstruction, incorporating smart infrastructure, autonomous vehicles, and energy resilience. The 325th Fighter Wing will operate F-35A Lightning IIs from the fully rebuilt installation. O&M covers reconstruction support operations and approximately 12,000 personnel.

FY2025 MILCON for Tyndall AFB. Ongoing reconstruction program — F-35 maintenance complex ($145M), base housing and dormitories ($85M), and installation energy grid ($55M). Tyndall's multi-year MILCON program is the largest base reconstruction in USAF history.
