Annual BASOPS for Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina — collocated with Camp Lejeune and home to the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing's helicopter and tiltrotor squadrons. New River operates MV-22 Ospreys, CH-53E Sea Stallions, UH-1Y Venoms, and AH-1Z Vipers. The station is the East Coast hub for Marine aviation assault support and close air support. O&M supports approximately 12,000 military and civilian personnel.
