Annual BASOPS for Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina — home to the Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II fleet and the Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 501, which trains all Marine F-35B pilots. MCAS Beaufort is transitioning from legacy F/A-18 Hornets to F-35Bs for the entire Marine Corps East Coast strike fighter community. O&M supports approximately 10,000 military and civilian personnel.
