Fort Johnson — Base Operations & Maintenance (FY2025)

Annual BASOPS for Fort Johnson (formerly Fort Polk), Louisiana — home to the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) and the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). The JRTC trains infantry and light brigade combat teams in realistic combat scenarios in the Louisiana piney woods. The hot, humid environment and swamps create unique maintenance challenges. O&M supports approximately 13,000 military personnel at one of the Army's more isolated major installations.
