Annual BASOPS for Camp Zama, Japan — headquarters of U.S. Army Japan (USARJ) and I Corps (Forward). Located 30 miles southwest of Tokyo, Camp Zama provides command and control for Army forces in the Pacific. The installation hosts the 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Army aviation units. O&M supports approximately 5,800 U.S. military personnel and SOFA dependents in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
